Your First Visit to Our Baldwinsville Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

The first visit to our office we first request that you fill out a new patient intake form and health history questionnaire. Following that you have your first consultation with the doctor to discuss your health objectives.

Chiropractic examination procedures will be performed to detect any irregularities in your nerve, muscle and skeletal systems to determine if chiropractic care is appropriate for you. A lifestyle evaluation may also be recommended to determine the role of physical, chemical and emotional stress on your health and well being. The doctor will advise you as to need of additional procedures such as laboratory and x-ray tests, if necessary.

If your case requires immediate attention, emergency first aid may be administered. However, most new practice members will start receiving care after the doctor has taken sufficient time to fully evaluate all the examination results and derived a care program specifically for you.

Could a chiropractor put an end to bedwetting?
If bladder control seems elusive, consider chiropractic. If spinal bones are interfering with nerves that control your child's bladder, plastic sheets, alarms and other methods simply add to the embarrassment. Baldwinsville parents are often amazed (and relieved) that chiropractic can be so helpful. Learn more.
Do nerves actually get pinched?
Chiropractors recognize two types of nerve disorders involved in subluxation. The least common is a pinched nerve that diminishes nerve supply to an affected organ or tissue. More common is the irritated nerve (facilitative lesion) which overexcites nerve communications to an affected organ or tissue. Chiropractic care has been shown to help with both types.
